Our little Maggie has become so much fun these days. She definitely knows what she wants and is willing to give a shout out if she doesn't get it, but she's really starting to be able to communicate her needs a little more. Her favorite words these days include: light, Max (the dog), apple, more, up, BOB! (just the way Grandma says it :-), and she's willing to try many words even if they don't quite come out right yet. She is quite a good mannered 17-month old as well and will almost always say thank you (tank-you) and will often say please (pease) while also doing the sign. Our favorite is the word OK, however, and just about anything you ask her to do she'll reply with "O-Tay" in perfect Buckwheat. Here are some recent pics:

P.S. Deanna's note... today I was changing a very messy diaper and said, "Oh, MANNNN!" in perfect "Swiper the Fox". Maggie repeated it back to me just perfectly! it was so funny (to us!)
