Hope everyone is enjoying the April showers as much as us. It has been wacky here in that it was 75 and sunny over the weekend, yet today it is cold again (mid 40's) and we even had some hail. Such is spring in the Northwest.
Our fears of Katie becoming mobile have come true. I guess it was bound to happen. It seems like she has progressed a lot in just a couple of weeks in terms of getting around by herself. She now crawls with more certainty and determination. She can also get from the crawling position back to sitting up, which is new. We'll be continuing the effort to Katie-proof the house this week as I suspect she'll be walking by herself soon as well.
She still eats like a cow and sleeps like a cat, which is good I guess. Grandma went to get her up from a nap last week and found her standing in her crib -- that's a first too!
I'll try to get some of the video we've taken out here soon, but in the meantime, here are some recent pictures from the last couple of weeks.
