I don't really believe in new years resolutions, but this year I'm resolved to post more often in the blog!! We're enjoying the new camera -- ok, I'm enjoying the new camera and Deanna and Katie are putting up with me. I've been spending a lot of time reading various articles and tutorials on photography. Who knew there was so much to know.
The new year has been good to us so far, although the weather has been a bit of a bummer. We had some snow on and around Christmas and you'll see a couple of pictures of Katie enjoying her first snowflakes. The snow was quickly gone, however, and it seems like it has been raining ever since. To be expected here in the Northwest, I guess, but usually we get a glimpse of sun ever now and again.
Katie is now rolling over more regularly these days. We couldn't be luckier parents, really... Most nights Katie is sleeping 10 or 11 hours. She's pretty good at telling us when she's hungry or tired. She could nap better, but she's starting to get in the habit of taking a couple of hour-long naps a day (thanks Grandma!). She even eats her green beans, although she'd rather have rice cereal or applesauce.

If I didn't know better, I'd think that was fake snow in your pictures. Speaking of the pictures, some of them look downright artistic! Guess all that reading and learning is paying off. Maybe you can give me some lessons? I have started a mypublisher photo book, but I am learning that you were exactly right about how time consuming it is! I'll be lucky if I get it together before NEXT Christmas! Thanks for sharing, talk to you soon. Wish it were August already!
